Mattancherry Kadavumbhagam Synagogue

There were three synagogues on the Mattancherry Jew street two of them representing the two communities of the Malabari Jews and the third, Paradesi's.
After the Aliya one of them is gone for ever, the Paradesi Synagogue continues to be as it was but the third one stands a little far away, forgotten and ignored struggling to remind us that there will not be a new one built, what we have is all we have, a towering monument of our own heritage of tolerance and harmonious co-existence.
And ofcourse, a tribute to our Hindu Kings who ensured that way of life.
